Poppies of Lydney has been established since 1985 and our team of friendly, qualified and knowledgeable staff have an impressive 77 years combined experience. We are proud to be a member of the Interflora network, specialising in beautiful fresh flowers and plants for every occasion. We also sell complimentary gifts such as handmade Belgian chocolates, fine wines and champagne. Also glassware, gift cards, helium balloons, soft toys and dried flower bouquets. We are licensed to deliver champagne and wine, and also stock wines from a local prizewinning vineyard in the heart of the Wye Valley. We can deliver other alcoholic beverages upon request.

We have built up an outstanding reputation over the years as a good independent specialist in funeral tributes. All our floral tributes are hand crafted and hand delivered usually to the funeral director. Each item is made to order and our range includes traditional items such as wreaths, crosses, cushions and hearts as well as full length casket sprays, as shown in our Sympathy and Funeral Flower section. We also can create custom designs (usually from a photograph), a military emblem, a motorcycle helmet, cat, dog, pheasant, fish, pint of bitter, gun, cruise ship and many others form part of our past creations. Each item is lovingly and carefully created so you can rest assured that your choice will be a beautiful and fitting tribute to your departed loved one. Ask about our remembrance service if you would like us to regularly place flowers on a loved ones grave.

Being situated in the Forest of Dean we have many local wedding venues and can create perfect wedding flowers for your wedding. All delivered free of charge to local venues in and around Gloucestershire. Please fill in the consultation form in the wedding section to book yours. Poppies can also offer a range of beautiful floral designs for your office, reception or meeting room. These can take the form of flower arrangements or vases, changed weekly or fortnightly to enhance your working environment and improve the appeal of the reception area, or for a special event in the year such as ladies night or a gala dinner.
